First of all, let me give you a warm welcome to the Cumbria Pool Association Website.
This website is dedicated to give you all the very latest news, match results and other useful information of the Cumbria Pool Association.
Cumbria Pool Association (CPA) has been established since 1981. We are affiliated to the English Pool Association. Our matches are played amongst the North of England (Region 2), which include West Yorkshire, G.M.C, Cheshire, and Lancashire. Our home venue is the Pockets Snooker Club in Workington. Inter-county matches normally take place on the 2nd Sunday in the month . Anyone is welcome to come along to see how the county matches unfold.
In terms of affiliation, any local leagues are welcome to affiliate to us. After the affiliation process is completed, their players are entitled to come to the annual county trials for a place as a player in the county teams. The affiliation also allows your local leagues to enter the Inter-league competition. You can come to our home venue and chat to us on any of our home match days regarding affiliation requirement. Or you can simply drop us an e-mail, and we are more than happy to explain the requirement in further detail.

The C.P.A will form teams (Men`s A & B, & Ladies teams) from their affiliated leagues to represent Cumbria in the Region 2 Inter-Counties League
They will also organize a competitive league and KO cup between the leagues affiliated to the C.P.A. this is known as the Cumbria`s Inter-league.
We will endeavour to provide training and facilities for players of all ages, ethnic and disabled groups
